Hey all! Wildstar here, creator of this RP! Our current plot centers around the history of persecution of halfclan cats.
Many seasons ago, a RiverClan leader called Blazestar (formerly Blazefire) began the persecution of halfclan warriors. His ideas were quickly picked up by cats from all four Clans, and a witch hunt for cats with "impure" blood began. Blazestar's supporters left their own Clans to join RiverClan, and for some moons it was the most influential Clan in the forest. Blazestar held sway over the allegiances of more warriors than any cat before him. His deputy, Ripplestripe, was the cat who executed most of Blazestar's heinous schemes, and the forest cats lived in fear of the RiverClan leader's power.
Ripplestripe had a sister, Silverheart, who broke the Warrior code by falling in love with Robinwing, a ThunderClan warrior. When Silverheart learned she as pregnant, she vowed to tell no one of he kits true father. But Ripplestripe, now Ripplestar after Blazestar's death to a mysterious illness, was suspicious of his sister and learned that none of the toms on RiverClan had taken her as a mate.
On the night of the gathering, two moons after the birth of her kits, Silverheart took them to the border of ThunderClan to give them to their father. Where they would be safe from Ripplestar's wrath. But Ripplestar, cunning as he was, sent a patrol o follow Silverheart. As she began leading her kits across the stepping stones to ThunderClan, Ripplestar's patrol attacked them. Silverheart was killed, and the younger, Mousekit, drowned in the following scuffle on the rocks. The remaining kit, Wildkit, was safely transported to ThunderClan.
StarClan, enraged by Ripplestar's disregard for the truce of the full moon, sent a plague if greencough across the entire forest. Ripplestar lost his remaining lives to the illness, but cats that had remained loyal he Warrior code were spared from the dire sickness. Most ars survived the winter, and when spring came, Wildkit became Wildpaw, then Wildmane, and finally Wildstar.
But rumors have begun to spread, whispers in the shadows of dark cats visiting warriors in their dreams. They say its Ripplestar and Blazestar, back to exact their revenge on the four Clans and StarClan for their deaths. They are amassing an army of living cats to fight for them, and plunge the forest into chaos.
StarClan will choose four cats, one from each Clan, to unite their Clans in the battle against the corruption spreading like a disease.
~Four will be chosen to bring light to the darkness
A new era must dawn with the brightness of day
As the shadows of night are chased out of the forest~
